Each homework requires you to complete 3 peer reviews. For details on how to see the reviews assign to you, see:
How do I submit a peer review to an assignment?
This assignment tracks whether you adequately completed those peer reviews. To earn full points, you must:
Provide all 3 peer reviews. If you are missing any reviews, you will not earn credit (even if you are missing just one). This is a pass/fail assignment, and you must complete all 3 reviews to pass.
Provide constructive and specific feedback. Discuss both positives and negatives about the submission. Always try to relate your comments back to specific visualization principles (e.g. data-ink ratio, lie factor, data density). Do not criticize something without giving suggestions for improvement.
Provide more than just a few words. Aim for at least a few sentences, or 50 or more words per peer review. This is variable, as it depends on how much functionality was completed. One sentence about a complex visualization is not enough, but it might be for a visualization that is not functional. (In that case, check for console errors and mention them in your review.)
Provide feedback within a week. Peer reviews are always due a week after the homework deadline by midnight. Late feedback will not be accepted.
Feedback such as "it is pretty" or "nice job" or "needs work" are not sufficient alone. In fact, don't bother with the feedback if that is all you are going to put down, because you won't get any points!
The feedback is checked and graded by the teacher assistant. If you have any questions, please post on Piazza.
If you do not see 3 reviews assigned, it is likely because you submitted the homework late. Post on Piazza to have reviews manually assigned to you.
