Welcome:

Thank you for your interest in the Communication and Collaboration Digital Badge Program.

Earning a Communication and Collaboration digital badge indicates that you have achieved the following competencies:

Ability to create interactive webpages and videos using Adobe Creative Cloud Express.
Ability to communicate via Zoom video conferencing for online meetings, presentations, and collaboration.
Proficiency in creating PowerPoint presentations that communicate with impact.
Ability to create a sharable folder in GoogleDrive and include a GoogleDoc or Sheet. Share the link to the folder.

Program Requirements:

In order to earn this badge, you are expected to complete at least 5 ITT classes within the Communication and Collaboration track along with 3 assignments in Canvas that demonstrates your competencies as indicated above.

Deadline:

You will have up to three academic semesters to complete the program.

Earning a Badge:

Upon the completion of a minimum of 5 ITT classes and the required 3 assignments in Canvas, you will earn a digital badge that you can apply to your LinkedIn profile or showcase on social media. The badge will be distributed via Canvas, and an e-mail will be sent to notify you.

II: Completing the Assignments in Canvas (select a minimum of three):

Go to Assignments (located on the left hand) to select and complete up to three assignments of your choosing.

Upon completion of the assignments, go to Grades (located on the left hand) to see if you have passed the assignments you've worked on.

Please complete a minimum of three of the following assignments:

1) Create an Adobe Creative Cloud Express page

2) Create an Adobe Creative Cloud Express video

3) Create a PowerPoint Presentation

4) Record a Zoom meeting with you presenting your PowerPoint presentation or Adobe Spark webpage. Include audio narration.

5) Create a sharable folder in GoogleDrive and include a GoogleDoc or Sheet. Share the link to the folder.

1. Where do you sign up for these workshops?

2. Do I have to first complete the training/workshops and then do the assignments?

It is recommended that you attend the training before working on the assignment.

3. What can I do if I can't make the workshop?

I do require students to come physically to the group sessions, but if you can't make it, please email me at yduong@dons.usfca.edu to schedule a 1-1 session with me.

4. Is this free?

Yes, this course is free and without any cost.

5. Can I get extra support to acquire this badge?
